Meze's history began when Antonio Meze was looking for a headphone whose sound resonated with him, in the same way as his faithful Fender Stratocaster guitar, his great passion. In 2009, he started Meze Headphones in Baia Mare, Romania. Although they started small, with various experimental parts already on the market, they quickly developed their own materials and technologies. In 2015, they launched the 99 Classics, the headphone that provided the breakthrough that Meze deserved. Since the 99 Classics, Meze has been known as one of the most respected and beloved headphone brands.
