MASSIVE 0.5% SILVER-PLATED CONDUCTORS

Solid conductors eliminate distortion through strand interaction and reduce jitter. Solid silver-plated conductors are excellent for applications with very high frequencies, such as HDMI audio. These high-frequency signals travel almost exclusively over the surface of the conductor. Because the surface is made of high-purity silver, the performance is very close to that of a solid silver cable, but with a price that is much closer to a solid copper cable. This is a significant cost-effective way to produce high-quality HDMI cables.

FOAM-POLYETHYLENE INSULATION

Any solid material next to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and printed circuit board materials all absorb energy. Part of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. Because air absorbs virtually no energy and polyethylene has little loss and a good distortion profile, Foamed-PE with its high air content causes much less of the out-of-focus effect that occurs with other materials.
