48G
AudioQuest "48" HDMI cables can transmit up to 8K/10K Ultra-HD video signals. The 48 Gbps bandwidth is made possible by 4 balanced audio/video pairs, each capable of transmitting 12 Gbps. The highly precise manufacturing tolerances required to produce HDMI cables capable of transmitting a bandwidth of up to 48 Gbps mean that many of AudioQuest's proven ingredients and techniques are more important than ever.
8K/10K
AudioQuest 48Gbps HDMI cables have the bandwidth required for video with resolutions up to 10K and resolutions/refresh rates up to 8K/60 and 4K/120. All AudioQuest HDMI cables are fully backward compatible with existing 4K displays.
Level 1 Noise Dissipation: direction controlled
This is the foundation of AudioQuest's Noise-Dissipation technologies. Traditional "100% shielding" is not sufficient to protect against the increasingly common negative effects of Wi-Fi, GSM, Bluetooth, and satellite radiation. In AudioQuest HDMI cables, all 19 conductors are directionally controlled to minimize RF noise that impairs performance by "directing" or diverting it away from the most vulnerable circuits. Additional noise dissipation techniques (level 2 and higher) are applied if the budget allows to further reduce noise.
0.5% Silver-Plated Copper conductors (HDMI)
AudioQuest HDMI cables apply increasingly thick layers of silver plating to AudioQuest's Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors to improve noise dissipation. Placing the superior metal on the outside of the conductors provides the greatest overall performance improvement and is an extraordinarily cost-effective way to maximize the quality of a digital cable. Forest 48 uses 0.5% silver-plated copper for its conductors.
eARC: 0.5% Silver + Level 1 Noise Dissipation
Because sound matters, the eARC conductors in AudioQuest's latest HDMI cables receive the same amount of love, dedication, and noise dissipation with the same superior, direction-controlled metals as the main AV data pairs. HDMI's Audio Return Channel (ARC) sends audio from a TV to a soundbar or AV receiver for more simplicity and flexibility in setting up the system. Previous ARC capabilities of hardware could only deliver compressed 5.1-channel surround sound. HDMI 2.1 hardware supports Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), which dramatically increases bandwidth to pass through uncompressed and lossless high-resolution multichannel audio, including Dolby TrueHD and Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS: X.
Lifetime Warranty under conditions
AudioQuest HDMI cables are precision-engineered to ensure a high level of reliability and are covered by a non-transferable, limited lifetime warranty. Proof of original purchase is required; other restrictions apply.
