Solid+ Concentric Long-Grain Copper Conductors

Solid conductors prevent two common sources of distortion: imperfect contacts between strands and magnetic interaction between strands. However, if such a large conductor as that of Q2 were made of a single piece, it would not only be very rigid, but also produce an unnatural sound due to skin effect - like an auditory roller coaster. The Solid+ concentric conductors of Q2 consist of a perfect circle of 11 smaller LGC copper strands that are spirally wound around a single larger LGC strand. The result is a flexible conductor with a sound quality that approaches that of an ideal solid conductor.

Low-Inductance Twisted-Pair Geometry

A normal speaker cable with parallel conductors has a relatively high inductance, which spreads energy over time and makes the sound dull and unfocused. Two conductors spirally wound around each other provide lower inductance, greater clarity, and superior extension of low to high frequencies.
