The Dan D'Agostino Momentum Pre Amplifier uses a complementary balanced circuit topology, just like the Momentum amplifiers, for maximum bandwidth and low noise. The zero-feedback design ensures the most musical sound quality. Volume adjustment is done through a resistor ladder controlled by an optical controller. This is the cleanest, most transparent method possible for controlling volume.

Isolation

The Dan D'Agostino Momentum Pre Amplifier features a 300 VA power supply that is housed in a separate chassis, isolating the sensitive circuits of the preamplifier from electromagnetic interference and noise.

Design

The styling of the Dan D'Agostino Momentum Pre Amplifier is a perfect complement to the Momentum amplifiers, with copper accents that match the unique copper heat sinks of the amplifiers. The meter on the front of the preamplifier indicates the volume setting, and a ring around the meter controls the volume. The front selection buttons light up to indicate which input is active. A radio frequency (RF) remote control that works through walls is included.
