The Dan D'Agostino Momentum S250 MxV stereo amplifier delivers the extraordinary sound quality of the Momentum M400 in an affordable stereo design. The S250 has many similarities with the M400, including the circuit topology and construction of the stereo amplifier. The S250 features the same ultra-efficient copper heat sinks with venturi cooling, the same 1% metal film resistors, the same 69 MHz output transistors, and the same fully complementary balanced configuration as the Momentum M400. The result is a sound reproduction that is unmatched by any other amplifier, except of course the Momentum M400 monoblock itself, and an efficient design that consumes less than 1 watt of power during standby.

Design

The Dan D'Agostino Momentum S250 uses the same chassis as the original with a small aesthetic design change in the copper parts on the sides of the front panel. Additionally, the meter now displays a scale suitable for the higher power output.

Upgrade

Current Momentum stereo amplifiers can be upgraded to the Momentum S250 performance level. Included in the upgrade is the new 250 Watt meter plate and all upgrades of electrical components.
