Dan d'Agostino Progression Mono Amplifier
The Dan d'Agostino Progression Mono Amplifier is the largest and most powerful Dan d'Agostino Master audio system made to date. It delivers 550 watts at 8 ohms, doubles to 1,100 watts at 4 ohms, and doubles again to 2,200 watts at 2 ohms. The Mono Amplifier uses a fully complementary driver stage, amplified with 48 output transistors, a 3000 VA power transformer, and 400,000 microfarads of power supply storage capacity.
Appearance
The iconic appearance of the power meters of the Momentum amplifiers, inspired by the elegance of classic Swiss watches, continues with the Progression series. The Progression Mono Amplifier features a new meter design with a 180-degree needle swing, powered by a fast ballistic circuit that improves the meter's response time. Thanks to the longer swing, the needle can cover the entire output range of the amplifier.
Discreet, balanced, and direct
The Dan d'Agostino Progression Mono Amplifier delivers extraordinary power in a larger package with the ability to bring speakers to lifelike levels. The progression circuit borrows much from the flagship Momentum and is a perfect match for virtually any speaker. The audio signal path is discreet, balanced, and directly coupled throughout. Advanced protection techniques safeguard the amplifier and associated components against unexpected deviations. Like the Momentum amplifier, the Progression circuit boards feature a through-hole construction for the best sound quality and durability. Like all of Dan's products, the components of the Progression series are hand-built in the factory in Arizona.
