Dr. Feickert Woodpecker
The name Chris Feickert and analog have been synonymous since the beginning of this century. After completing a doctoral study and a career in the chemical industry, 38-year-old Chris made a radical decision in 2002. He left chemistry and devoted himself entirely to music reproduction. He did this together with a legendary name in the analog world, Thomas Scheu, who has been working on designing and improving turntables, arms, and cartridges since the mid-1980s.
The Woodpecker MKII turntable is characterized by timeless elegance and excellent sound. Previous developments by Feickert have been further refined. The bearing design, combined with the POM platter and high-torque motor, is even better than in previous models. The motor electronics for the Woodpecker have also been completely redesigned. The sound of the Woodpecker will even astonish the most discerning analog enthusiast.
With the sliding base, the Woodpecker allows you to mount different tonearms from 9 to 12 inches.
