The dual-mono design employs a specially built, shielded, high-current toroidal transformer with dual windings for the left and right channels. The output stage and driver stage utilize separate power supplies for effective isolation between the output and input stages. A dedicated transformer for the control and display circuits isolates them from the signal path.
