Hegel H600 integrated amplifier

The Hegel H600 is the new reference integrated amplifier. With its 303 watts at 8 ohms, a damping factor of 4000, and 2 ohm driving power, this powerhouse of an amplifier can confidently and easily drive any speaker. The amplifier is a dual mono design, which approaches the performance of two mono amplifiers in a single cabinet as closely as possible.

The H600 also features an ultra-modern preamplifier with the highly accurate volume attenuator found in the reference P30A amplifier. All electronic circuits are designed in-house and Hegel uses only the highest quality components. This provides unprecedented control over the amplification process.

When combined with their SoundEngine2 correction technology, they are left with an audio signal that closely approaches the original recording. D/A ConverterThe H600's D/A converter is a bit-perfect design and offers pure audio fidelity without any resampling or upsampling. The DAC has a large, dedicated power supply that ensures pure and stable performance, and is shielded by a thick steel plate to prevent interference from other electronics in the amplifier. The result is an advanced D/A converter with incredible resolution and smoothness. The chassis is made of aluminum for better audio performance. Large aluminum feet with an anti-scratch design provide excellent stability and reduced vibrations, while high-quality RCA connectors and optimized positioning of the analog and digital connectors reduce noise and improve channel separation. The large control knobs feature touch control, making this amplifier effortless and intuitive to operate. They also feel very pleasant, making every adjustment a pleasure.

StreamingAt Hegel, they believe that great audio should not come at the expense of ease of use. That's why the H600 has an extensive list of streaming options. It supports UPnP streaming, Spotify Connect (pending), Airplay 2, Tidal Connect, and Roon Ready (pending). However, this is just the beginning.

This highly advanced streaming engine ensures that the amplifier is always up to date with the latest options for streaming your music. The H600 can also be highly customized to fit into any environment. All digital inputs except USB have signal detection. This means that any device connected to these inputs can wake the amplifier and set it to the correct input. In addition, the volume can be limited to match your maximum volume preference.

With the remote control function, you can program the amplifier to be operated by regular TV remotes, eliminating the need for two remotes and making it easier for all household members to get great TV sound.

Most inputs can also be set as a fixed high-level Home Theater input, making it easy to combine the H600 with surround receivers or multi-room devices.
