Linn conducted extensive experiments, testing various materials and configurations for the body, inserts, cantilever, suspension, coils, and wiring. The result is the Linn Ekstatik Cartridge, the new gem in the range of Linn cartridges.

Linn Ekstatik Cartridge, the flagship cartridge of Linn, raises the bar for synergy between arm and cartridge. The unique construction ensures a harmonious synergy with Ekos SE, dissipating more unwanted resonances through the arm and sub-chassis.

In the quest for ever better materials, Linn has implemented aluminum-bronze inserts. These inserts are now a feature of Ekstatik and allow Linn to benefit from the sonic advantages of this alloy.

With a custom honeycomb structure in the cartridge body, Linn Ekstatik has been streamlined to reduce the total weight to the desired sweet spot of almost 7g.

A micro-ridge stylus on a sapphire cantilever provides an exceptionally responsive cartridge. The sapphire cantilever is much stiffer than boron or aluminum, resulting in less loss between the needle and the generator.

The overall result is an agile, responsive cartridge with improved performance thanks to these materials, masterfully combined in unique configurations.
