Two channels of Linn's patented Chakra amplification, a machined enclosure, and a Dynamik power supply make this our best performing stereo amplifier. In fact, just a few Klimax Solos can effortlessly power your system.
Like the Solo, the Twin uses a machined enclosure, not only to look good, but also to provide electrical and mechanical isolation between the audio and power boards. The Chakra topology offers significantly more power, reliability, and efficiency, with less heat and distortion than conventional designs.
Use one Twin for a passive stereo setup and add more Twins to multi-amp your speakers or upgrade to a fully Aktiv setup, connected to Klimax Exaktboxes.
Chakra technology
Patented amplifier technology combines the speed and precision of a monolithic chip with the robustness and smoothness of bipolar transistors.
Chakra constantly adapts by using a monolithic at low currents and bipolar transistors at higher levels. It is a unique approach to transitioning between these technologies and ensures accurately controlled, clean, quiet power at all listening levels.
Powered by Linn Dynamik
We have developed our own switching power supply to generate stable, low-noise power rails in a compact, cool-running package: essential for amplifier performance. Dynamik is the latest evolution, with higher mains noise isolation, more power, and faster response; clearly superior to bulky and noisy conventional power supplies.
Sound Sense
All Linn power amplifiers are designed to be efficient, even when not in use. Automatic signal detection detects the presence of an audio signal and minimizes power consumption by returning to standby when inactive, while fault detection and protection mechanisms help protect your system from short circuits or excessive loads.
