"The latest reinforcement feedback engine literally brings music to life with LIFES* version 1.0

By only feeding back the distorted components generated during the journey of the audio signal to the final amplifier stage, LUXMAN's own 'ODNF' amplification circuit achieves excellent static properties and a natural sound quality as if it were a 'non-feedback' system. During the development of the M-10X flagship stereo power amplifier, launched in 2021, the technical concepts investigated there were retained and the circuit configuration, which had become very complex through years of improvements, was completely redesigned to achieve "LIFES" excellent, hi-fi sound reproduction and define a blueprint for the feedback motor for the next generation components. The L-509Z is equipped with independent LIFES modules that work simultaneously in each of the fully discrete pre and power sections.

The L-509Z is a pre-main amplifier worthy of the 'single-chassis separates' concept, integrating separate quality units in a single, elegant chassis and achieving an elevated level of musicality and unprecedented detail compared to other amplification circuits. The output section uses three-stage Darlington bipolar transistors in a quadruple parallel push-pull configuration to achieve excellent output power and almost perfect power linearity, similar to a stand-alone power amplifier, developing 120W+120W at 8 ohms and 220W+220W at 4 ohms. The result is a spectacular sound quality with an abundance of energy.

*ODNF stands for "Only Distortion Negative Feedback"

*LIFES stands for "Luxman Integrated Feedback Engine System""
