Settings
The Tambaqui has four freely assignable digital inputs. These are set by the dealer upon delivery but can be changed by you at any time. For example, one input can be assigned to a CD player, the second input to a music streamer, and so on.
App
The Tambaqui can be controlled with a free downloadable app for both Android and Apple's iOS. The Mola Mola app connects to the Tambaqui via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connection is solely for remote control. In addition to the Mola Mola app, a remote control is also available.
Pre-amp
The Tambaqui can be used as a DAC only, connected to a preamplifier. The volume of the Tambaqui is set to maximum in this case. However, the musical power and gain of the Tambaqui also lie in its fully lossless and distortion-free digital volume control. This allows the Tambaqui to replace the preamplifier in a system with purely digital sources.
High Res
As one of the best DACs in the world, the Tambaqui is expected to support all (high-res) resolutions and audio formats. Up to 384Khz/32bit (!) PCM and quadruple DSD playback. Distortion is almost non-measurable.
