More from this brand

"The Supra DC-MD01 Mk III DC blocker is nowadays a must in the power supply of every power amplifier. Unfortunately, the mains no longer provides the 230 volt alternating current. Disturbing DC offset from, among others, transformers of LED lighting and dimmers cause pollution.

We then hear noise and the clarity disappears from our better audio systems. The new DC Blocker from Supra can filter and correct this up to a maximum of 3.6 volts. Transformers can also start buzzing annoyingly.

According to the manufacturer Supra, the DC blocker provides a quieter, black background, tighter bass and more tranquility in listening. The maximum power that the DC-MD01 can handle is 3680 watts (16A), which is more than sufficient for most amplifiers and other audio equipment.

About Supra

Supra Cable originates from Jenving Technology in Sweden. Jenving Technology can be considered one of the pioneers in the field of cables and was one of the first manufacturers in the world to introduce a specially developed 2.5mm2 speaker cable for this purpose in 1976. The market quickly agreed; a good speaker cable does make a difference.

However, much has changed since its establishment. Jenving Technology now works closely with leading Swedish universities to continuously improve quality. Despite all the knowledge and expertise, Jenving Technology still adheres to the same successful vision as in 1976: "when you create something and dare to ask money for it, make sure it is worth it at least". This is considered very normal in Sweden and at Supra Cables they call it very down-to-earth 'no-nonsense'."
