Introduction to Wilson Audio SabrinaX

When it was time to upgrade Wilson's legendary Sabrina, Daryl and his team faced a challenge: how could they upgrade a speaker that was already beloved for its extreme musicality? In searching for ways to improve Sabrina, Daryl drew directly from his latest project, the Chronosonic XVX. With those tools in hand, Daryl evolved an already great platform into a speaker with even more musicality - while also improving speed, resolution, intimacy, and transparency.

Description

The Wilson Audio SabrinaX is a compact floor-standing speaker, measuring less than a meter in height (99.8 cm)! It is a three-way system with a reflex port. For a compact speaker, the Wilson Audio SabrinaX is quite weighty (50.8 kg). Unlike the previous model, the SabrinaX has been improved in many areas. This is particularly evident in the enclosure. As the name SabrinaX suggests, this model is now entirely made of Wilson Audio's X-Material. This very rigid and mass-damping material ensures optimal behavior and response of the installed speaker drivers. In the previous model, only the front baffle and base plate were made of X-Material.

This results in a noticeably more open and homogeneous sound reproduction. The dynamic contrasts are even more convincing and expressive. It's like experiencing music live.

The crossover filter has also been revised and now benefits from the AudioCapX capacitors. These capacitors are found in the flagship model, the Wilson Audio Chronosonic XVX, and were first used there. The AudioCapX capacitors are extremely quiet and therefore have an extremely low noise floor, resulting in improved resolution and detail. This smallest lady is a full-fledged member of the Wilson Audio family. In terms of low extension, this lady reaches impressively deep: 31Hz -3db in Room. In practice, the Wilson Audio SabrinaX is a fast and very open-sounding speaker with very fine detailing and a special representation of energy. Percussion, for example, is reproduced very skillfully; with punch, tightness, and yes, energy! Just like we experience it live. The advantage of this speaker is its deep bass reproduction. From experience, we know that full-range speakers sound noticeably more spacious and larger. Sub-bass reproduction contains a lot of spatial information. As a result, the reproduction becomes more tangible and therefore more realistic because you can now literally "feel" the space.
